Why does hair get thinner?
Our hair and scalp changes over time, leading to thinning & in some cases, baldness.

The degree of thinning we experience varies according to both external factors such as UV rays, stress, free-radicals & internal factors such as genetics & follicle’s sensitivity to the hormone Dihydrotestosterone, or D.H.T.

Androgenetic Alopecia or “pattern baldness” occurs in both men & women whose hair follicles are sensitive to D.H.T. (a primary cause of thinning hair & hair loss).

Typically, hair on the top & front of the head is sensitive to D.H.T., over time, this hair will become weaker & finer, & eventually may stop growing.
